Here is some fun easy reading (vs. scientific reseach papers) on traffic waves:

Nice write up and good illustrations... all it take is driver co-operation and courtesy. Such rare commodities on the road today.

During my commute this morning on Sepulveda, 2 lanes in each direction. Going south it's easy to go 30+ on a bike. I take the right lane. Traffic gaining on me in both lanes. I start a tight controlled weave. Amazing result. Cars slowed, moved to the left lane and gave me a wide birth. Worked like a charm!!!!!!! :D

did the drivers smile and wave, or curse epitephs?

i usually piss drivers off when i do the "drunken sailor lane swerve" technique. i assume they don't understand the rationale.....

thats' the D.S.L.S. technique, not to be confused with powerweave....

It was dark but I had the feeling that they were worried because of my lack of skill. I'll be doing more "research" on it.

I agree, except that for the extraneous phrase "on the road": "Such rare commodities today." ;-)

I think birds prefer cardboard boxes. Or bathrooms cabinets. Mmm tasty.

Wow I thought the greys were destructive!
