Yea that looks like a pretty solid setup. The fork is not to great and you may want to upgrade it in a year or two. What type of riding will you be doing?

FR, do you think I should bargain for a lower price?

Sounds like a good ride! I'd bargain the price though...that bike is almost 2 years old now.

The parts are 06, what would be a reasonable price to ask for?

LOL haha

Wait so all the parts are 06? Are they new?

You said plus tax so I'm guessing your buying from a shop, that is a big plus!

If the components are in like new condition, then the price is fair. But it wouldent hurt to try and bargain a little.

Yeah the parts are new, here's a pic (the frame in this pic is 04 though) http://www.mediaslave.name/cyclesolutions/specials/images/Chaparrell_Bike_Image.jpg

If the bike you are buying is in the same condition as the one in the pic, then it is a fair price and go for it!

The one in your last link is really nice but I'm not good with pricing so I'm not sure if its worth that money...someone else would have to answer you. Nice specs though.
