I just bought a Trek EX 9 with a Reba Team Fork. It is a 2006 model year. I am confused because on the fork it says you can adjust it to be 100mm or 115mm. I do not know how to do this however. Is this even accurate? Please let me know.
If it is not a u-turn, it should be internally convertible to 85mm, 100mm, or 115mm using a spacer. You can just visit your lbs and ask if they can do it for you.
as erhan mention, the travel can be adjust by working on the spacers. They are inside the fork. if you have enough experances and download the manual, you can try to adjust it your self. its not that hard.
Yes its accurate. Btw, the way to measure travel amount is NOT measuring the fork physically. Some people just measure the travel thing (sch....) is what its called. I forgot the name. The best is to get someone heavy enough and PUSH the fork down while holding on the front brake. mark the point and measure it. that is very accurate. I had a 63mm SID and it came out to be exact 63mm. Yes I can even measure that 3mm. ANd then I changed it to 80mm and its 80mm :D

here it says adjustable to 85/100/115mm, i was a bit surprised to see 85mm, but 85mm is also an option on this fork!

Many racing hardtails [and some XC FS bikes] are designed to work with an 80-85mm fork, as many NORBA and UCI events require a minimum of suspension. The other settings are there for those who want the light weight, but a bit more travel up front.

I thought the "Team" model comes with U-Turn. Maybe not in 06 I guess.
