I am new to this site but I have found alot of useful info already. I am currently riding a 80s (?) Schwinn Traveler III. I bought it used from the local shop (Clown Dog Bikes) and fixed it up and converted it to a fixed gear. I am riding a 39/14 ratio. I'll never go back to freewheels. I am living in Austin, TX right now but I am from Salt Lake City, UT where I did alot of mountain biking. I am a part time student.

I've never heard of Clown Dog Bikes, and I've been in Austin a long time... going to check them out when I have some time off from work. I like wandering by local shops, seeing what is new. Hopefully they took good care of you... I've found Austin shops very helpful.
