Hey there everyone, I'm soo excited right now, I just got a call from my LBS and they said my new frame and fork came in today!!I'm soo excited because I wasen't thinking that it would come till later in april...It's a Cannondale r800 in the red color, and I'm doing a frame swap with them because the bike I currently have had and been riding on is a blue one, it was bought back in 2001 and I really wanted a red one at the time, but they had ended that color for that frame just befor I bought the bike, and I've been wanting a red frame every since, because red is my favorite color..So now they have it, so I thought I might jump at the opportunity to get it, and then just transfer the wheels and gruppo, seat and everything over to the new bike..So that's what I'm going to do tonight, take the old bike over and they will build it next week, while I'm in florida doing my tandem training camp with my mom, and it should be ready hopefully when I come back, just in time for the new season!!:)
Unfortunatly I don't know or have the capibilities that a lot of you guys have to take a picture of the new bike and post it here, but I can suggest that you visit the cannondale web site and see the frame there, it's the r800 and then if you can invision here the words, I'll describe the parts I'll have on that frame...I run campy chorus with the record levers on all my road bikes, along with a sele italia flite ti gel saddle, ksyriums ssc wheels, forge stem, chorus seat post and cinnelli tape to match..
The colors of the club that I am a member of, are red white and blue, and now I'll have a bike that matches those colors!!
Hopefully that'll give you a picture of the bike..
