Where can I get some type of road bike riding training program?
I am looking for something to help me to get into shape so I
can do some serious mileage like the 60-70 miles per day like
the big boys do?

How much money do you want to spend?

There are plenty of books on Amazon to add to your training repertoire (sp). Almost all of them are geared toward you building your own training plan from where you are to where you want to go. Many of them are geared toward training to racing, but you can "race train" without wanting to race.

I've committed to Joe Friel's Cyclist Training Bible 3d Ed. (http://www.amazon.com/CYCLIST-TRAINING-BIBLE-3rd-BOOK/dp/B0006JHZ7Q/sr=8-3/qid=1159944418/ref=sr_1_3/102-8766684-3128137?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods) for this coming year.

Or, if you want to pay for coaching, there's plenty of sites for that too. You can start with .http://www.trainingpeaks.com/.

Unless you're planning on getting into racing and moving up the cats in the next year or so, you won't need the specific attention of coaches just yet. Friel's Training Bible will be a good start for beginners. Then move on to Armstrong/Carmichael's and Lemond's book. They go into the specifics with a little more detail.

I used this book. Great resource and really helped structure and improve my cycling.
