These are7 speed Synchros inserts that are said to match up to the 7 speed Regina Free Wheel I bought. These things are not that common to find these days. The inserts in my Synchros 2 shifters are a 6 speed index system, and I'm not quite sure what the yellow color matches to.

I Asked Kurt to pick me up 2 as I have heard these things can break.

Interesting - I'd heard and read about them but never seen them. At a glance, they almost look wooden.

Rad, they are a metal that is painted with a color that corresponds to a freewheel and Chain, on a chart that is long lost these days to everybody it seems :lol:

I just bought a set of synchro 7s with a regina 7 freewheel on ebay in a lot of parts that are supposed to all be in excellent condition. It was an ill advised splurge purchase but hey... anyway I am wondering what Rear Derailleur these are compatable with? There is a unidentified derailleur in the lot that looks like early 90s chorus maybe... what kind of chain will I need?

One in yellow, one in red, to be exact. Not exactly sure what they're supposed to be used with - I think the earlier Syncros post had the answer to this...
