Commuting - Frustration = nice ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Work was just one big snafu after the other and ended up in a mistake that had to be reported to the district manager and could cost me my job. Oddly enough I only really care because it'll be a pain to find another job that is so cycling friendly. Luckily I only had to stay an hour late. My girlfriend, bless her heart, was waiting for me to offer a ride when I finally got off. As tempting as it was at 9:30pm, I had to turn it down. I was just too frustrated and knew that hammering home would be the best way to blow some steam. Even though my headlight went out half way home, I was glad I wasn't driving; I would've been a danger not only to myself, but to everyone else on the road. On the plus side, I knocked 15 minutes off my normally 40 minute commute.:D
Bah... I had to vent.

I hear that, hammering home is probably the only way I can keep my blood pressure in check due to the stress of my job. Great therapy!!!
Hope everything works out!

Mistakes happen. Hopefully, they will recognize this.
Hammering it on the way home is a great way to work out frustrations. The only downside is I tend to over do it and exhaust myself for the rest of the week. Plus, motorist confrontations usually escalate due to my mood.
