Introductions - Hi

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Wow, what a great site:)

Just thought to take the time to introduce myself, 30's, live outside Philadelphia, started out a couple years ago deciding to get in a bit of shape while writing my thesis and that blossomed to include running, biking and swimming...yep triathlons (sprints for now but I'm hoping for an international distance this year). I'm way too competitive for my own good but fortunately that's balanced by a lack of talent and limited time. Just means I get to sit back and laugh at myself a lot.
Bikewise, ah... moving that fast on your own and getting to see the scenery--I love it, just not enough hours in the day. Even hills are fun in an odd, "hey I did that and I'm not dead" kind of way- I guess what they call "good pain".

I know almost enough about bikes to be a danger to myself and others... I'll try to remember that if I post ---heck maybe it should be my biline.

I'm out to buy a ride to replace the old 12spd- posted (probably inappropriately-sorry) that story in roadbikes- I'll let you all know how it goes:)

I can relate to that, but don't worry the folks round here are smart enough to keep both us outta trouble.:D
