Im out in the field doing work right now, im leaving to drive home (250km drive) Its straight to best buy to get a car deck for my car, then the 4 day weekend begins!

I saw the Stones a few times in the 70's and later Keef Richards w/ Expensive Wino's
in the late 80's. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I think for every bit of speech-

well, the concert wasnt bad, wasnt great either...

The opening act was 3 days grace (i think)... I didnt watch them, i went to the sushi bar and ate Gyoza's, then went to the bar and had a few pints of Hoegaarden, then walked to the stadium and got there just before 8. When i went to buy beer tokens i was SHOCKED to see that they stopped selling beer at 8pm. I was livid!!!! I mean, c'mon, how stupid can you be to stop serving alcohol at a concert?! Especially BEFORE the band even took the stage!!

So anyway, show was alright, played for just under 2 hours, they have a neat stage design, however, there was too much flames/fireworks... wayyy tooo cheesy... They also had SEATS on the floor.. SEATS!!!!! so strange... The smell of weed around the place was pretty strong.

anyway, i got pretty drunk after the concert to make up for not drinking during the concert.. A mix of Hoegaarden and Stella. Good times.. PLayed a lot of foosball too, a few games against my old boss that i really never liked, so it was good to beat the hell out of him.

Sounds like good times (even without the beer @ the concert...weird.)

I went to see Dennis Miller in concert last night....I was nearly falling out of my seat at times. :)

There is a reason he is my FAVORITE comedian!! I've been waiting FOREVER for him to come to my area.

He was bizarre when he was here about five years ago. he got heckled early on and apparently got pissed and then did his whole show rapid-fire as fast as he could without stopping for air or laughs. very strange. I was glad we got the tickets for free.

Wow...Im sorry to hear about the disappointment with the Stones.
I saw them a few itmes in the 70's and the JFK concert sort of sucked.
It rained, Foriegner played for waaaaay too long......
Mick came out in the Phila Inquirer the next day and apologised for the bad
show and said he had a 103 degree fever or some such ilness :eek:
The other times were straight ahead great rock & roll....no stoopid stage
stuff, flat out @$$kicking rock !, Stones and amps, nothing else ! Oh yeah....
They did have a huge, blow up penis that came up out of the stage during '76 era Star
Star but that that was it for the props :roflmao:
Back then they didnt even bother to search you either....you could(and did :eek:)

I went to Tim Hortons for a breakfast sandwich, and apparently they dont serve breakfast sandwiches past 12pm. What is wrong with this city?! Or is everyone out to screw me over with my food and drink agenda...
