i live in the snug town of kenosha, and i heard that our veledrome, i think thats how you spell it, was the first one in america!!!!
i deffinatly didnt believe it but it came from a pretty trusty source, so i thought id ask you guys about it. i havnt ever raced on it, like in competition, and actually i havnt even been on it very meany times but its great lol i like going on it with my mt bike and racing my friends cuz its free to the public. its sad to say that im actually thinking of buying a nice road bike and mabey doing not just the trails but the velodrome and the streets too.
so do you guys know any of it? ever been on it? ever raced, lately? mabey i watched you!?! lol

The only way I would ride in a velodrome is if they dumped a bunch of dirt and boulders all over the track.

Buy a nice track bike, or do a cheap conversion to ride on the 'drome. http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/crazy/1198.gif :D

Kenosha Velodrome Association (http://www.333m.com/) site.

I don't know if it was the first, but the sign out front says it is the oldest operating. Opened in 1927.
