Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's ironic that they want to save the forest by not allowing bikes but you would still be able to hike. If the area is that sensitive, hikers should not be allowed in there either. Please...Sounds to me like they just want the Forest all to themselves.
Mountain bikers put in so much work to maintain the trails that bikers AND hikers use yet such groups the Sierra Club complain how we destroy the forest.
