I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been on one side of a chasm or gorge or fjord with a scooter without tires and an ornamental trapeze and thought to myself, "Self, if you only had a bear to ride the scooter, you could get across that chasm or gorge or fjord." I will agree with you though that it is moronic and very unsafe for the bear to ride without a helmet.
