I dont know about that maybe that he was trying to get 25 grand for it, like this 1898 version--

I was thinking the same thing, but it looks as if there is some kind of clamp on the seat post type deal on the bottom bike.

The owner/builder, Aaron Goss from Seattle, was at pains to note that his conversion did no damage to the classic Colnago frame.

I saw that bike and its rider at this years dead baby downhill race in seattle. I was quite impressed with the thought and reversibilty built into it.
How do you mount it!?
If you are tall like me, you can just give it a lil' push with your left foot on the left pedal and hop right on. Took about 1 day to get used to it, now it is really easy.
