After six weeks with my left arm in a sling from a torn up left shoulder as a result of hitting a dog on a group ride, i took my first ride. it was part of a club ride with my riding club's yearly picnic. i decided on taking the short/slow ride. only averaged around 15mph over 24 miles which was fine with me. nice and flat with half the ride on a covered/paved trail. the craziest part about the ride was when on two separate occasions we came up on two stray dogs. i think it was the universe testing me to see how i would react and telling me that everything was going to be ok. my shoulder still isnt back to where it was and it won't be close for another six months but at least i know i can get back on my bike and ride.

Glad to hear it! Take it easy stressing that shoulder for a while, but you know that! Build the strength and have a great time riding!http://yodarken.css-clan.de/yay.gifhttp://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/w00t.gifhttp://www.informanews.net/IPBforum/style_emoticons/default/yeah.gifhttp://friendsforever.foren-city.de/images/smiles/a084.gifhttp://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoticons4u/happy/1074.gif
