What time are the riders going to be on the road? I'm headed north from Del Mar to San Onofre and back tomorrow morning, and wonder if I will run into them.

Our departure time depends on whether we wind up doing the century or not. If we do, we'll leave around 7:00. If we don't, we'll leave a bit later, probably 8:00ish.

Thanks for all the well wishes. This used to be our big ride of the year. Now, since we've met all you ultra-speedy sandbaggers, it's become a bit anti-climatic. But still a great ride, with great people.

My heart goes out to the rider who fell 2.5 miles into the ride and broke his shoulder.... Right in front of our fire station. I fixed him up and sent him on his way in the sag wagon. Speedy recovery.

To whomever broke their shoulder, I hope that you feel better soon and I am very happy that it was right in front of the firestation that housed Bill (Thanks for being there!).

I had not heard about that one yet. I only heard that someone dislocated their shoulder and popped it back in themselves...
