Hi,
I like my bikes and i have one but it is geting old and i am decideing to get a new.....now the bike i have is dual suspension with normal brakes ....anyway my question is should i go for disc brakes ? ? they look so cool......Now i just use my bike for recreation a cycle here.....a cycle there ...nothing major. I would still go for a bike with the dual-suspension ...just wondering about the brakes ?

Thanks,
Barry

Ps. I have always found Raleigh a good bike ? ? Would i be wrong

This was a bike i was looking with dual-suspension and dual-disc brakes.....is it any good......i assumed because it is releigh it *should* be good :) and its in my price range.

While you seem to be more taken with all the "Gee-Whiz" goodies
that can be on a bike it's more important to remember to........
"Keep It Simple Stupid" as an axiom that will get you a great
low worries bike 'cause there is less to break and take care of.

No.
It's a piece of junk.

How can I tell? Because the manufacturer tells you NOTHING about the components (even a Google search didn't give any details).
Ohhh, and what the hell is "Lithium", besides a very soft metal?

Drop the dual suspension, and for the $$$ you plan on spending you can get a nice hardtail MTB, with parts that will actually LAST.

100% agree. For the same money- for street use- you can get a bike that will work.

Looking at Argos so you must be in the UK. Argos only sell poor quality bikes. The equivalent of Cheap Halfords or Wallmart in the US. You will be better off looking in one of the Bike magazines and finding an 05 hardtail . it will be a better bike and will ride far better too.
