My name is Chris and i have been a Roadie for 10? years but new to the Bike Fourm so a noob i guess.
Computer Programer/web dev and stuff. i like 50 to 76 mile rides but 20 and 30's can be cool too. done 3 cross state mass rides. and have a bunch of centurys under the belt. been there done that though.
I have a few road bikes and some mountain bikes. here is a current rundown
1993 3.0 with Exage 7sp biopace and matrix (retired)
1998 CAD 3 Cannondale with Record/Chours 8sp (retired)
1998 Rocky Mountain Blizzard XT raceface/syncros (project)
1998 Schwinn Peloton 853 9sp dura ace/Ultegra with Open Pros
2005 Felt F35 dura-ace 10sp Easton Circuts and carbon bling (new project bike) happy happy joy joy ;)
I ride with the Spring City Cycling Club so if any of you North Alabama folks want to snag some good club rides look us up at www.springcity.org. also a runner and i like to kayak. I joined to fourm to get some good road riding advise and share some of my experience if i can. not a gram chaser but i do like solid equipment no real preff to campy vs Ace or carbon vs Ti vs Steel vs Wood. as long as it works im happy. its more about the ride then what you ride i guess.
well ride on folks
good to meet all ya
