Hello,

I got a new Raceline Performance about 3 weeks ago, and today I went racing. Finished the race fine, but on the way home doing under 20km/hr I changed the chainring to low, but it came off as it sometimes does. As I try and put it back on using the gear shifter like I have done in the past, I hear a bang from my rear deralieur, and the pedals won't freewheel/back-pedal. The deralieur is bent and sticking through between some spokes, and the ratchet in the gears isn't turning.

Any ideas? I need help please!!! I'm going south for training next weekend and I have a big race the weekend after.

Thanks

Get yourself to your local bike shop asap. If you are asking how to fix this then it is above your head. Let your favorite mechanic restore your two wheeler.

Hi this is Sam's brother...... It's a bent rear hanger. This shouldn't of happened.... mine snapped cause it had a stress fracture from a crash....but sam's bike should be fine. (he fell on the non drive side when he didnt balance right at the lights :p) I shall be ringing Apollo bicycles (who produce raceline) first thing in the morning as I work at the bike store that the bike came from.... i know which buttons to press :p
