The Tigers are finally kicking some major ass! They just blasted the Yankee's out of the play offs. This town is in such bad shape economicaly, its making for a nice pick me up around here. I'm not into baseball, but I'm still really happy about this.

I'm not a Tigers fan, but a team that beats the Skankees, is tops in my book.

Quite the surprise. After tanking down the stretch and allowing the Twins to win the division, I thought they were done. Any team that eliminates the Yankees is ok by me.

That high-pitched whistle you hear is the steam coming out of Steinbrenner's ears. I would not want to be Brian Cashman. Or Joe Torre.

I'm in L.A. right now with all my living relatives plus my childhood best friend. We're all originally from Detroit. It's the only thing we can all talk about together in one room without having a meltdown.
My dad had season tickets back in the '84 season when they won the World Series. I doubt I'll ever see games so exciting again. Hope it's just as exciting for the you present Detroiters. Detroit deserves something good for a change. :)

Kenny Rogers is "The" man, he threw 7 2/3 shut out innings agaisnt the best team in baseball in game three, which they won 6-0. But my bet is on SD to win it all, are they still in it?.

If you're gonna pick an underdog for the whole deal, you probably need to go National League. After all, the AL has home field advantage for the World Series, and the AL romped in interleague this year. If you REALLY want to root for the underdog, you need to be pulling for the Cardinals against the Mets this week.

Sounds like a plan then, as long as the Yanks are out you can count on some good baseball to be watched:D .
