My son, just turned 8 last week, told me he was going for a bike ride after dinner tonight. I replied, "Sure thing, we'll ride around the neighborhood for about 15 minutes or so?"
He responded, "No Dad, I'm riding with (the neighbor's 9 year old daughter), so STAY HOME!"

The boy must be gifted. Acting like a teenager at 8?

My son will be turning eight this summer. Is this what I have to look forward to? :( My son doesn't live with me, but almost every time I visit him he wants to ride. Right now he enjoys riding with Dad, but I suppose that will soon change *sniff* *sniff*
