For those of you familiar with the famous 'I Am Canadian' rant, this occured to me as I was riding in to work this morning (yes, on Thanksgaving) in gorgeous sunshine and on clear roads.

I Am A Cyclist!

Hey, I’m not unemployed or a student
I haven’t lost my license nor am I too poor to own a car
And I don’t know Lance Armstrong or Floyd Landis
Although I’m certain they’re really really nice

I have respect for all others on the road
I obey as many traffic regulations as you do
And I don’t go on sidewalks unless it’s to park

I proudly ride my bike to work everyday
I believe in safety, integrity and personal responsibility,
The environment and my health
And that riding my bike is a positive and noble effort.
I belong on the road and am entitled to an entire lane
And I don’t deserve to have my life threatened by aggressive and impatient motorists

There are almost one million cyclists in Toronto
We haven’t killed anyone, caused traffic jams or pollution
We are fathers, mothers, sons and daughters just like you

My name is Joe
And I am a cyclist!

Didn't the actor in the "I am Canadian" commercial end up moving to California?

Don't they all?

There's probably more Canadian waiters and waitresses in LA than any other nationality. LOL

So does that mean that those who are not like you, are NOT cyclists? Or maybe just not Real Cyclists?

I loved those Molson commercials, but you didn't add my favourite line from the I Am Canadian commercial...

it's pronounced [skyoo-er]
not [skroo-er]

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly do the + and - mean?

+(n) means you agree with something someone else stated...

so people usually quote someone else and write +1 or +1000 or +infinity, etc.

-(n) is someone not agreeing and doing it in a quick way while poking at the +1 shorthand.

That is a good Miller ad. But NOTHING tops the uncensored cat fight; this is the version that played on the cable stations with the "great" ending.

As much as I agree with the message in the first commercial, I'll watch the other one ten more times than the first one. :D

You better get your self checked out if the cat fight doesn't appeal. Unless you are of the female persuasion. Even then there is an inspiring lesson to be learned.:)

On Brad Paisley's "Get a Little Mud On The Tires" video, they have one that went right to the mud. It was at his Mudstock concert.

Let's turn it around, without providing the URL or any description of the cryptic reference what's the point of the OP? Some sort of secret code for those in the know to appreciate?
