I am afraid that I have become that person that I used to dread running into: The Grandparent with Pictures. I was talking to a friend at the start of a century Saturday and she had the best line about becoming a grandparent, "It's like falling in love again."

Now, who couldn't love a little six month old boy with a face like this:

That's OK, we all do it! I'm one of those terrible Uncles, myself! I have pics of nieces and nephews (No kids, so no grandkids!). Best thing about being a grandpa...you get to spoil the grandkids and let mommy and daddy deal with the negative results. ;)

Worst thing...for me anyway...playing a gig in a joint with lots of pretty gals, not realizing I am wearing my 'World's Greatest Grandpa' sweatshirt. :eek:

Teach a kid how to read at literally any grade level, and watch them years later reading something you never ever taught them, but they can because you didn't just teach them how to read but how to figure out how to sound words out. Then try making that statement :p
