View Full Version : How you gonna haul that Jack o'Lantern home?
Any creative, clever or amusing solutions to this age-old problem?
Here's one idea (http://www.siege-engine.com/PunkinChunk2000.shtml) that looks pretty effective. The bicycle (stationary) powers a siege engine (catapault) that then flings those pumpkins home. But watch out for collateral damage! :D

Chip--It's cute the way you left your real nose sticking out of the pumpkin.

well, I'm not car free but I am a commuter. I asked my fiancee if she wanted to ride to the pumpkin patch and she loved the idea. she thought I was talking about the one 4 miles away, which I wasn't. I like the one she was thinking about better anyway so we went and she picked out a 25lb pumpkin. I had no problem carrying it, but I did have to stop and fix a flat on the rear after running over a bunch of glass. We got a lot of strange looks and smiles on the way home. we stopped at Olive Garden for dinner and a kid walked by as we were locking up and said, "how come we never do anything cool like that?" to his parents.
