Foo - While bf was down, I made a bf wallpaper

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I got extremely bored yeserday, decided to make a wallpaper. Then bf goes down, so it was perfect timing.
Hope you guys like it, it was all in good fun, and to brush up my basic skills in photoshop.

REVISED VERSION

I can lower the opacity on the background to make it desktop useable, but it wasn't really meant for that and I didn't think anyone would want everyones faces constantly staring at them. Enjoy :D

Only catch is...you have to have a queen.;)
Joe and Shadiyah are the White King & Queen.
Stacey is a rook (mod). That's all I got for now. The other pieces are rebelling. They keep wandering off for food and bike riding. Go figure.
I fixed it for you grampy. :D

Awesome Pheard! I'm going to wallpaper that on my laptop when I get home.
You might want to fix it so you can see the guy's name to the left of KT. Bike Forums is kinda covering it up

I'll lower opacity if you're using it.
Something like this-

so you can put things on your desktop.

I just noticed that! I saw one of the Zombies in that pose in Dawn of the Dead!
It was actually quite good though...
Haha, there was only two pics of you hi5, and the other one you looked kinda goofy on your road bike.
Also, if anyones wondering why their names are spelled wrong that's because I typed your names in based on what I call you. So your name might not be exact.
Looks good. I'm at work and this monitor is terrible so it looks really dark now. Oh well.
By the way, cydewaze's girl is juf2m.

Fortunately, it's not hard to spell Mot, I mean Thoom, I mean Thom, I mean TOM!http://smilies.zx6r.info/lachen/567.gif
Yea mirona. On my computer everything looks light, and detailed. Then on other computers things I've sharpened look scratchy and/or dark.
Well, what about the other 67,847 members? ;)

Here's another tip.
I notice you have a thing for red, and you may have started a red theme for that wallpaper.
That's cool, but to optimize, color correct for red, giving contrast to the hues, and then adding a little saturation of color. Than rasterize it, and you should be able to give every individual photo a red highlight. Try it if you have the time, you should be pleased with the effect.
I used pics that foosters posted. That was all of the foo regulars who had posted their pix. There were maybe 5 other people who posted their pics, but I didn't recognize them from foo.

I'll take suggestions into account, and try to improve the wallpaper. This was very rough, and gave me a nice headache. I didn't particularly try to do a red theme, it just so happens that's how it turned out.

Yea, if dex and snowy give me a pic I'll put them in and take out a few of the people that aren't regular foosters.

Dude... you're bumping people?! :p
Actually you might want to consider making a double-wide version for those that run dual heads or have one of those cineramic displays.

Some people are running dual displays or they have 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen) monitors. You can make an expanded wallpaper for those people which can include more members.

Great job pheard. You did an awesome job on the desktop.
I'm awaiting that pic snowy.

Khuon- I see what your saying now, what size are those screens. Pixel wise?

Well, the problem with displays is that people run them at all sorts of resolutions. However, just as a point of reference, the native resolution on say a 23" LCD widescreen display is typically 1920x1200. If you stick to that aspect ratio, then regardless of actual number of pixels, people can scale the image for their widescreen monitors and not get distortion.
See mine is 768x1024 that's why I made the wallpaper that size.

I understand. That's a 4:3 ratio (actually you stated it as 3:4). That's a standard screen ratio (1024x768, 1280x1024, etc...) Widescreen displays are 16:9.
