BMX - I want to start trail riding (problem)

I just decided that I dont really like flatland, it's fun and all but just to boring I guess. I'm thinking I wanna start trail riding but I dont know of any actual trails around here. The closest thing to trails is this dirt race track which has step-ups and table tops but no doubles or anything. I was wondering that if I were able to clear a full table top would I be able to clear double, how do I get good air on jumps and stuff, and what tricks I should start off with? Thanks in advance.

Depends on the size of the double really but i suppose you should be able to

If there are no trails around you, you should go to your local skatepark and ask around, or become freinds with the other trail riders...
Or just find a nice wooded area or field and build your own!
As for tricks, just try simple stuff first like one footers, one handers, no footers, x-ups you know...

One of my favorite tricks are suicide no handers.
Sure, they're one of the easier tricks, but if done right they look great.

Suicide no handers arent easy... Tuck no handers are easyer though.

Really?
I learned them on my mtb in less then a week and just carried it over to my BMX, never really took any work. All my friends did the same.

I havent acctually tried them, but they don't seem like an easy trick.

Tuck no handers are pretty easy, the hardest part is fully commiting and taking your hands off far.
As for suicides, you have to pinch your seat and they just are scarier, and tucks look better.

I think suicides look way better, especially if they are done going fast over like a 20' double. And yeah tucks are easy. I can get them out to tail tap sometimes on a 5' mini ramp near me.

Meh, they look bad in my opinion to tail taps...
I was doing my newly learned tobaggans today at the trails, but they were horrible because it was a little wet and i was scared of how steep i made my line...
