Well my job is moving from Anaheim to Huntington and I decided I would move a bit closer to bike commute when it happens (think March-June). Also I have become a sedentary beast. So its time to get out there and do something! Last week a picked up a Trek 1000 at the LBS in Whittier. So far I have only put 6 miles on it as work/life has been throwing me curve balls. I'm basically on my way out of a lengthy complication regarding a five car pile-up on the 5 s back in August. I was the lucky middle or third car.
So here I am, just wanted to say hi and that I've been lerking around reading the posts here. Maybe I'll head out to an organized event once I get my ass into shape.
I think I'm going to start in Pico and take the San Gabriel river trail this weekend. Wish me luck ;)
Oh, also like some of you I have a Myspace too. www.myspace.com/joshnass
Thanks for reading.
Welcome to the forum Josh...feel free to jump in on a ride anytime. In fact, if you're an early riser a couple of us may be riding from HB to ???? on Sunday morning.

Right now the plan is to leave early, probably 7:00ish from HB...kids and time constraints are the story of my life! :p
If you can't join us this weekend, feel free to join us another time!

Welcome Josh. Just ride as much as you can and you'll do fine. On longer rides just dont expend as much energy at a given time and you'll find yoou can do more then you though. Brandy carries a tow rope anyhow. We are aTeam Sandbagger, we are really slow.:D

Welcome, Josh. And you don't need luck on the river trail. You'll do just fine! It's a great path to get some miles in. :D
Welcome to the madness... Hope to see you on a ride sometime!
