I know theres a lot of photographers on here. Anyone know much about the Retina series? I have a IIc that is in decent condition but has a light leak. Shops around here have both told me yes, fix it, its a great camera, and no, don't fix it, its not a Leica. Estimates are around $80-120. Any thoughts?

Its a Retina Ia actually, now that I look at it, with a Synchro-Compur lense. I'm told its from the early 50's but not really 100% sure on production dates. Bellows look to be excellent. Seems to be a very solidly built little camera.

Nothing, like I said, I just know theres a lot of people on here that are into photography. I guess I take it with me when I ride sometimes?

It is a great little camera, and a nice lens, but not worth $100 in excellent condition.

Sweet, kinda what I thought. Looks like IIa's are the desireable ones and cheap enough on eBay... might just pick one up.

speaking of cameras, this is the white holga that is only available in japan and hong kong. word on the street is that it might even be NJS stamped:eek: ...pm me for details.
