Psydde is my boy and has been guilting the hell out of me for not visiting his shop. So noon meal, ride up to the corsetry, hang out a minute, have a drink, grab a sparks from a deli, hit reload, socialize, race, drink. In exactly that order.

more nifty thoughts:
1) April Fools Race was fun, but I didn't stay long for the after party cus unless riding a tandem gets you extra points I know I didn't win anything. and I was tired. but yeah, sweet race :-)
2) riding fixed after riding stoker on a single speed tandem with the seat way too low = way weird.
3) I lost my gloves somewhere along the way...I think at/around Tattooed Mom's. it's all good, but kinda :( cus they were from Australia.

nifty things about tonight:
1) I finally tightened my chainring bolts
2) I learned how to take a bike apart
3) I like folk music and meeting new people. if you want to go to shows with me/meet me, let me know.
4) I thought I was gonna be out of town this weekend, but I'm not, so technically I'm available for April Fools Race. still undecided if it's a good idea to go. I've never raced before so would probably be looking for someone to tag along with if I go.

Did my 200k in 12 hours an 20 minutes, 8000+ feet of climbing and according to one of the women I was riding with a max grade of 21%

Um, on a folk level? Cloud Cult, but they're not exactly folk...they have a female vocalist who probably sings about 1/4 of their songs.

He did all the other checkpoints while still on his bike and riding, including chugging a monster and doing the pushups/jumping-jacks(which he did upside down on his toptube).

I took the photo at a wierd angle, but hes actually 9 feet tall. He also made me take it in sepia tone and yelled the following as he sped off "F#ck tires and F#ck the 20th century!!!"

I'm still wearing mine regardless of the weather. That's 1/4 less fabric that needs to dry while I'm grumpily sitting in Temple's tech center after getting here and realizing all my classes were cancelled.

Forget what group it is, but there was that LA one that posted their midnight sprint/drag race/whatever competitions that look fun as all hell. Might be something fun to set up for once it gets warmer.

MOG ron ron is out of control.

N delaware ave is pretty far out of the way I think. I'm thinking maybe the 5th st tunnel since the little downhill would provide for a nice lil speed boost. Any other ideas? Talked to some people at temple and they're down for like a sunday night sprints event so pretty sure I'll get it started sometime in may.

yeah the bastard was literally aiming right at me, I swung my bike around so he only clipped my back wheel a lil bit so I didn't fall. I guess my wintertime fixie riding where I was fishtailing the whole way to school finally paid off.

but still... it was a frigging cop. By the time I turned around to get a license plate # it was gone.
