The one pictured here:

It has "26 inch" tires, but of course it's the old 26". I don't have the bike near me right now, but I was wondering if they are the same size as s-6 tires (like for a schwinn) or if they're 650b tires? I ask because Nashbar has some KENDA K133 26*1-1/2 (650bX4) tires for cheap. If I recall the tires (on the lenton) may actually say s-6, but I can't be sure.

Anyway, I know there's Raliegh experts here. Would those kenda's fit it?

According to this, the S-6 size was used on older British club bikes. My '59 Lenton had 27'' wheels.

Sounds like your Lenton has 26 x 1 1/4" wheels or EA1 or 597mm. 650B would not work (too small at 584mm). Schwinn S6 is supposed to work (at least according to Sheldon Brown).

They're not 27", they're some version of "26 inch", I know that for sure. I just don't know which.

Your bike would have EA1 tires, same as Schwinn S6. The Schwinn will be 26 x 1 1/4" but will be a little fatter as they also may say 26 x 1 3/8" to fit 26 x 1 1/4" eEA1 rim. I have a pair of NOS Dunlop tires in my garage with the double stamping.
