Having recently upgraded to a Trek Liquid 25, I'm in need of some new studded tires, but they have to be tubeless. Does such an animal exist? I've searched a little bit, but haven't found anything too specific.

I'm sure the standard-equipment knobbies on the bike will do fine in snow, but there are times when I need some ice stability as well.

Why do they have to be tubeless? On UST rims you can remove the valve and put a tube and regular tire on. That said, Nokian Extremes aired up with Stans goop or similar would be mind blowing winter tires! However, I don't know if I would trust them at cold temps as the goop might freeze, crack, allowing the tires to loose air.

Really? That works? These are my first tubeless rims/tires so I'm not familiar with them.

Presta valves. The rims say, "OSB (Offset Sport Bed)" and "Race Disk - Tubeless". They're significantly thinner than the 26x2.2 tires mounted on them.
