Road Cycling - My new saddle..Plus some bonus pics from a ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Got my new saddle today..I haven't had a change to test it other than up and down the street...But just that has left me liking the saddle. It is way lighter than the BG it is replacing, I could tell right off, without even using a scale..That is good IMO.

So how do you like the Pave? And would you recommend it?

Nice route. :)
Inoticed your handlebars are considerably lower than your seat. How does that work for you?
I am thinking about putting road bars on my MTB touring machine.. but I know that it will drop down like yours if I do so. ESPECIALLY if/when I use the drops.

I'll let you know after I get a real ride in on it..Just putzing around it seems nice, but I can't recommend it just based on that. I'll try to ride it ASAP.
Dougmt, having the bars that low makes it hard to stay in the drops for long. But I think my saddle is just a tad high right now, last week is was a little too low.I'm just moving it around trying to find the best spot, where I feel comfy, and don't feel like I'm losing power.
I've done two rides on the saddle now..Love it. It's firm, hits in all the right places, and doesn't hinder my leg movement, which is a problem I usually have with saddles. It's just a tad uncomfy at the moment because I've only done two rides. I'm sure after a few more everything will be just fine.
