Winter Cycling - J & G Yellowjacket v. Breathable Rain Jacket

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Sorry but the search feature doesn't appear to exist anymore (or I just don't see it).
I'm looking at the two jackets in the title. I know that the Yellowjacket is supposed to be windproof, pretty breathable, and is okay for light rain. The breathable rain jacket looks great too. I like the fact that the rain jacket has the additional vent in the back so I'm wondering if that extra vent provides breathability equalling the Yellowjacket.
What are your experiences with these two jackets? I'm more concerned with windproof breathability than rainproofing but if all three can be found together that would be great.
Thanks in advance for any input.
I've not used either, but to help searching when its broke (often) is use google, and just add bikeforums.net as one of the search words.

I can't find the company link to the jackets you mention. I'd try the Showers Pass Elite (http://showerspass.com/cart/product_info.php?cPath=21_25&products_id=29&osCsid=d85ca093e2351da62bdba62064022dad) jacket. Breathable, windproof, waterproof and lightweight. Make sure you get the hood (http://showerspass.com/cart/product_info.php?cPath=21_25&products_id=56&osCsid=d85ca093e2351da62bdba62064022dad) as well. It's totally worth it.

I like my GoLite weather jacket. Multiple zippers to open it up as desired for breathink. See at http://www.travelcountry.com/shop/SessionId/5904c86a8e483c9e3dec904d0d7060a3/Action/Vendor_Prod/CatId/467/ProdId/4374
It is pricy ($200) as listed but I got one from that site several months ago for $119 on sale.

Google Search (search items here site:bikeforums.net)
I have the J&G Nonbreathable rain jacket and love it, especially in the cold. All my sweat gets absorbed by my fleece shirt and I stay dry and warm.
J & G Clothing is at http://bicycleclothing.com
Other than those comments I have nothing to add to this thread

I was looking at the breathable J&G jacket and the Showerspass for my commute in Chicago. I notice the J&G is seamless, but Showerspass uses eVent (which is reviewed to be better than GoreTex at breathability). I'm also going to throw another into the mix and inquire about the Endura Gridlock... anyone know about that one?
