Bicycle Mechanics - help installing seat post - carbon to carbon

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I had to buy a new seat post. The new FSA seat post is about 4" longer than the OEM Bontrager. I'm having a very difficult time pushing the new seat post into the down tube - very, very tight fit. Yes, the seat post ring is completely loose. I don't want to try to cut the carbon. Should I lube it with WD40 or bar soap? Other advice? Thanks.
Nevermind...got it...finally.
Never lube a carbon fiber seat post or seat tube.
When I built up my C50 is was necessary use some sand paper to smooth and slightly enlarge the inside of the seat tube. I used fine sandpaper.
