Is it just me or doesn't this look like a NASHBAR alum. frame...big 'ol cottage cheese welds...thebikebiz.com has numerous pics...I can't get them to post for some reason....I'd say we're gonna see a few incarnations of this frame in the next year....

Um, no, it's Dedaccai steel, made in Italy.

Oops, reading comprehension, Brassknuckle not Bareknuckle.

What a terrible name for a bike frame. aren't brass knuckles supposed to be heavy? Shouldn't a Brassknuckle be made out of Brass and not aluminum?

I like the name and the frame. I didn't think the welds looked bad for a Taiwanese aluminum frame.

On the contrary, brassknuckle is a badass name. Other good names would have been "Crowbar" or "Bat With A Nail In It" (suggested for the Bianchi San Jose).

For the price, I don't really see anything wrong with it. I'm sure it rides well. I prefer sock full o' quarters.
Read the description for the brassknuckle, they talk about deals they're giving for frames+ parts, and that if you plan on ordering a frame and then parts later to let them know and they'll give you the same deal when you order the parts. Definetely seems like a cool group of guys or gals working there.

You seriously expect them to smooth the welds for $300 a frame?

Quarters? What are you, made of money? "Sock full of Doorknobs" is much more intimidating.

All they're supplying is the sock; you can fill it with whatever floats your boat.

Crowbar is a much better name for a steel frame. An aluminum crowbar would totally suck.

and back on track, does anyone actually know anything about this frame? is it any good or are you better off just saving for the bareknuckle? i'm in the market and have been pondering this frame, but it's aluminum and i've haven't heard too many good things about that.
I kind of like "Cockpunch".

Go with the Bareknuckle if you can afford it. I am extremely happy with mine. You get a crowned forks, nicer welds, and the steel makes for a suprisingly smooth ride.

I can vouch for that shop. I had my wheelset built up by them and they seemed like a good group of guys. They followed up on everything like they said they would and came through. The wheels were true out of the box, packed carefully and still spin true.

EAI *are* a distributor, but I'm not sure if they deal with Canada or not.
I think I read something about there being a couple of shops with their products in Canada, but I could be thinking of something completely different. Let me do a little search.
there are some links/information in this thread (http://bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=243274&highlight=Bareknuckle).
