i would have to say find some old bars and chop and flop em. last time i checked it was still free to do that if you have a saw and some old drops

Soma Urban Pursuit (http://store.somafab.com/sourpubar.html) bars are the only bullhorns I know of that use 25.4.

Nitto's bullhorns are all 26.0, as far as I can tell. If you look at a shop that has a lot of Triathlon stuff, they might have some older 25.4 ones laying around.

yeah I was wrong, Nitto's are 26, explody pup was right, Somas are 25.4. You aren't going to find anything cheaper than that.

You sure you want a bullhorn? MTB flat bars are 25.4, and dirt cheap. Add barends and you're done. You can buy one, and keep chopping it little by little until you get the length dialed in just right.
I've had 2 'horns and then a flat bar... flat is WAY better 4 me. You can grab it a lot wider on the flats while its exterior width is not greater than a 'horn (cuz it has no bendy part). Plus I like to rest my hand on the corner, which you can't really do w/ 'horns.

i have already done this, but unfortunately, because the handlebar was very cheap, it isn't exactly round. this causes problems when mounting the brake lever to it. i had to cut a piece of old tube and slide it over the handlebar as sort of a gasket. i'm not sure how comfortable i am with this. thanks for the replies. I guess my plan for now is to find regular drops that are mandrel bent and chop them. if anybody has any extra bars, let me know.. thanks.

Yeah, I use a cheap older drop in 25.4. I cut them with a pipe cutter which worked well. They are steel though. Another bonus is that you can mount an MTB lever for your brake.
