Did it not fit? Stoker hated it? What's the deal? Twice in two years?!?
And they look so happy in front of the shop.....
Be nice. Not every aspect of cycling is for everyone.
Beautiful bike! Wish I could talk my stoker into adding it to our stable.
Not every aspect of cycling is for everyone.
So true! That's why I find it odd that someone would purchase a $7k bike and only ride it twice in several years. If one was going to spend that much, one would think the preliminaries - actually enjoying bike riding and/or tandem riding - would have been sorted out.
Perhaps we should all withhold comment and speculation until such time as the OP responds to the question asked -- assuming he is so inclined.
I would note that the OP has not posted to this forum in nearly two years and that there are many, many reasons why someone would abrubtly stop participating in a discussion forum as well as riding a tandem and not all of them are pleasant (in fact, some can be tragic) or easy to discuss.
As always, TandemGeek is the voice of wisdom, charity and good sense.

Fits like a dream, but just can't get the stoker into it. It's only been on one group ride, then we attempted a climbing ride on vacation, but had to turn back. I ended up riding my single the whole time.
It's just too nice of a bike to sit in the garage and collect dust. If I thought there any chance of her coming around I'd hang on to it, but she has a crazy work schedule, and it's hard to get time.
As far as buying a $7k bike for our first tandem, well that's just the way I am.
Thanks for looking,
Chris Watkins

Good to hear that it wasn't anything more serious than that.
To the others who posted early... resume counseling.
Keep the bike, change stokers.....
I'd be driving to Colorado if a) the rear compartment fit my stoker and b) we wouldn't crush those wheels in the first hard hit we encountered on our glorious roads out here. Thats a gorgeous bike.
