With spring in full swing and the world keeping us a little busy at work its nice to have a commute like this.

14.3 miles, from South East Winston Salem to Greensboro.

This is my driveway at 0630.

Made it to work to find a news van and crew doing a live shoot for the morning news show. Unfortunately this isn't uncommon recently.

I am way too jealous now LOL that is one beautiful commute! The south is so pretty in the spring.

cwodave: I'm home sick. I call Winston-Salem home. I grew up on Woodbriar Road (over near Reynolda Road close to Wake Forest). Looks like you have a great commute!

Nice commute! I live in Thomasville and have often wished for a safe ride into Greensboro. Unfortunately, I can't ride on I-85 because it is illegal, and I cannot ride around it as it would take entirely too long. Not to mention I don't feel comfortable enough to ride down Westchester and Wendover twice a day during rush hour! Perhaps there is another hidden route which I must find.

Enjoy your ride! Oh and yes, the south is beautiful in the spring! In my completely unbiased opinion ;) I think North Carolina is one of the most beautiful states on the east coast!

How do you ever make it to work? With a commute like that it must be tough to stop yourself from just keeping on riding.

Much better than my commute. I get to go by a bunch of run down industrial districts. Nothing like rusty brown and dirty buildings to make you feel good.....NOT!

Whoever invented big cities when you can have a beautiful town like yours where there is more trees then buildings not the other way around. I'm from NY:cry:
