Okay everyone! Some of you saw my earlier thread about getting my friend to start riding in the proper attire for her needs. I was thinking....maybe to make her smile a bit I might get her a bell or horn or some kind of warning device for her to put on the handlebars. Perhaps something whimsical, to add a little cheer to her new exercise regime.
Anybody have pics of what you use? Or some fun suggestions?
Thanks! :)

Pink handlebar streamers. One of those squeeze horns that is some kind of animal.

See the huge bell on the handlebar? Try and find one of them. Not sure if you can still buy one. I have seen other bells, and tried them, but this one is MUCH LOUDER! I have never used it while riding yet, in fear of making whatever I am ringing the bell at, have a heart attack. :D
Not exactly whimsical, but I think these are very nice looking bells.

Cute but not completely dorkie - stay away from Barbie I'd go with http://www.loficustoms.com/hellsBells.html He77 on wheels model
No pix, but my daughter at 24 years old has had a horn on every bike she has owned except her road bike. Her ETSX has Penelope the purple cow. Her old Fuji hardtail has Willy the Whale, and on her new Jamis Dragon hardtail, a shark with several teeth blacked (my contribution) graces her handlebar. There are a whole series of silly horns that might brighten up her ride. My personal favorite is the Sumo wrestler.

Wow thanks for the pics and the links, everyone! I like that Japanese Brass bell for myself actually! :p
Crum, do you know the brand or have a link to those that your daughter has? That's something she may like. (Or even me for my bad boy comfort bike - shhhh don't tell!) ;)

I'm kinda fond of my bell, mirror and dice arrangement. The bell was at the LBS for $5.

Also liked my German Croc Horn I bought and used when commuting in Germany. Still use the bike but don't know what happened to the horn

They have a Sumo wrestler. You pinch his buns to make the horn squeek but that might not be appropriate in this case.
