Hello all... I was just wondering what you guys use to level your bike while using an indoor trainer. I've just been using books which seems to work OK... but sometimes they slip out and the stack tips over....????

I used to use a couple of 2x4s stacked on top of one another. That worked fine. But I got a Cyclops tire leveler thing for free with the last trainer I bought, so I use that now. Both work well.

I picked up a front tire block at performance pretty cheap.

Two closed phone books, and an open one to keep the wheel steady.

Agreed. Phone Books are pretty good.
Or get a 1up Cycling USA trainer that has an adjustable height so you dont need leveling blocks :)

Get a sturdy milk crate and elevate the front wheel, it works the climbing muscles.

In the past I also used phone books, and I will sometimes use phone books under it to elevate the front wheel a bit.
