I dropped by my LBS yesterday just in time to see the first three custom frames bearing his name being hung up in the shop. I'm not a huge fan of racing bikes or aluminum road bikes being a big person and a fan of vintage stuff, but the third frame realy caught me...

Handmade Fillet brazed Reynolds 853 air-hardened steel road frame dressed in opaque Gloss Black PPG Global paint, with classic Gold Leaf decals. The tall headtube was neat, and the fillet brazing was smooth and flawless. I mean nothing at all disrupted the flow of one tube to the next. It could have been formed from a single block of opaque black ice from the way it looked. I was in love. Next to the blue and cream Atlantis in the window, it made the Riv look gaudy.

I think I found my next bike.
