Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've honestly never been able to figure out what people are "testing".
Is it their typing skills, or do they have a question or comment?

Maybe it's like a microphone test? "testing 1-2-3-4" or my personal preference: "mic check, corn chex, wheat chex, rice chex, blank checks, ..." :D
I think it turned out to be that troublemaker, Joe Gardner! ;) You never know what he'll be up to next....

Ok, I've been away for a while. What is all this about troublemakers and so on?

I admit, it was me .... :o
I turned on guest posting, to see what posts would look like, and what options were, and were not avalible.
Yeah, Chris, and it scared the living daylights out of yours truly. (See poll and thread on "Guests--should they be allowed to post?" or something similar pretty much like that.) I thought the site had been hacked, and reported it to Joe and was making sure my firewall was set on maximum security, and biting my already-ragged-fingernails, etc. But it was just good old Joe, the Thomas A. Edison of computer forums, stirring things up again....
