I'm about to switch from a Nitto Dynamic to a Pearl, and am just curious how much more flexy one is than the other. The Dynamic seems pretty flexy, and I'd like something a little stiffer. Anywho...

I haven't noticed any flex at all, then again I've only ben out 3 times since I installed it (pesky Finnish weather, 3 weeks of rain)I don't ride very hard, no racing etc. so I haven't stressed it much. Feels stiff so far. Relpaced a Kalloy that did flex a litle bit.

I love mine.
No noticeable flex in the past year or riding it.

Sweet. I need a shorter stem, so I figured why not upgrade? (And why not get it in gold?)

Can't compare it to the Dynamic, but the 12cm and 11cm Pearls are much more flexy than a 13cm or 14cm Deda Newton (26mm, threadless). Seems like they also provide a small degree of comfort from road buzz and medium hits. I love the Pearl and have 1 mounted and 4 sitting on the parts shelf.

Any 90mm Pearls in gold, per chance?

Did you notice anything odd about the length of it? I read somewhere that they measure up about a centimetre longer than advertised on the side of the stem (something about Nitto measuring in an odd, non c-c way).
