I've been running the freewheel side of a flip-flop most of the time. I just came up on a new track cog and lockring. When i flip it it's about 2.5mm to far inside. I am really anal when it comes to measuring things. What i did is put a 2.5 mm spacer between the hub flange and then the cog then the lockring. All fits together well and seems fine on the slow nieighborhood cruise. Is this an accepted way for zeroing in on chainline? I have not seen this method before. I just don't feel like messing with axle and redishing really.
Oh yah, When i had ran it fixed side before and the chainline was off, it was a bothersome noise. I never dropped the chain though.
