Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Denverites: Anyone want to join Zin and me on Monday, October 16, at 9:00 am for a VERY SOCIAL (that means slow) 30 miler starting from my home in Parker, exploring the S. Cherry Creek trail system?

Don't tell me your problems!:D
Ever heard of a "mental health day?"

I don't make enough to be able to afford a mental health day! :p (Would explain why I'm so crazy, now, wouldn't it?)
Not to mention that I'd have to ride the majority of the Cherry creek trail just to get to your place (It's probably 30+ miles for me to just get to your place!)

One day we shall both thave to start from our respective opposite ends of the CCT and plan on meeting in the middle somewhere - say ?Cook Recreation Center? and saying "Hi!" and then returning to our respective abodes!

We had great weather - hi 50's and low 60's, and did a 20 miler. Zin had a job interview and we needed to allow for time for that. Zin was kind enough to go slow and not show me up too bad, but that Trek 5200 was a'rairin to go, and a bit disappointed, I think :D !
Here we are at the start. Zin took more pics as we went. Zin is the skinny one, poor guy - doesn't seem to get anough to eat!

Meh. I SHOULD have taken the day off. But I ended up missing 4 hours of work during the week, anyway, and another 8 hours of missed pay would have hurt. It did seem like a great day for a ride, though. :)
