So I dropped $50 on a pair of Fox Mid Ranger shorts today. The shop didn't have a place to try clothes on, so I made an educated guess at what might fit me.

Most of my everyday jeans / shorts are size 34, so I played it safe and went for the ones marked "36". Took 'em home, tried 'em on and guess what? I can't even get 'em up to my waist!

So I guess Fox stuff runs a bit small, eh? What size should I exchange them for-- 40? 44?

Way to damage my already wounded self-esteem, Fox. I think I'll go have myself a good cry...

I hate buying clothes. I guess fox sizes their stuff for horse racing jockeys

Yeah-- I figured that since they're "active" shorts, they'd run baggy. In fact, the liner seems to be rather adequate for my meaty thighs. It's just the waistband's gotta be like 30"... I was pretty baffled.

I also think you got a pair that is obviously mismarked from the factory. I recently bought a pari of fox shorts and the size was right on. Bring 'em back and hold them up against another pair (same size) and see if there's a difference.
