Hey All,

My bicycle was recently stolen from the front of my apartment in Brooklyn. If you've seen it, holler back!

Description:

Specialized fixed gear w/ reversable single-speed back wheel. Bull-horn handles with powder-blue rubber grips, Yellow striped Kenda Koncept tires, navy blue and powder blue custom decals on body on top of original graphite-colored frame (covering original large "specialized" logos). Bicycle Habitat member sticker. Once black front brake.

There is a good chance these decals have been removed if the bike was stolen, so now it probably just looks like the original bike with graphite body and large white "Specialized" logos on it.

i am sad. If you've seen my bike please let me know.

sorry to hear of your loss :-( .
i had my touring companion (atala, giro de) stolen from double locked shed 1996. local police here were totally worthless. i got a b-nash 6000t replacement and have had to compromise that the memories i had with my atala could not be stolen (X-USA, X-Penns, Vermont, all Nova Scotia, Canada, commuted 4 x 2 miles Every Day to junior college, etc).
makes me angry/sad to hear about your loss.

Very sorry for your loss, but really that thing is gone forever. If you have renter's / homeowner insurance or some kind of credit-card theft protection you can put in a claim.

I assume by the way that you did not register it with the NYPD? Not that the cops will put any effort into finding it, but if you did see it on the street you could call them and have them repo it for you.
