hey I was repacking my dura ace low flange rear track hub when I hit quite the problem,
somehow (don't ask me) when I disassembled the hub there was only 17 bearings??????
and further more there seems to be a little rust stains in one side of the hub,the cones and on some of the ball bearings
all seem smooth as ever except for the ball bearings
quite obviously rain has gotten in to one side of my hub but heres my question,
is my hub shot? i was thinking of getting new bearings/cones and just greasing everything up and hoping for the best, other then the obvious rust stains there seems to be nothing wrong,as i said the cones/hub seem smooth as ever..
Any ideas??
also any idea on where the other bearing went? I didnt drop it and it didn't crack and disintagreat in the hub..seems like it fell out!!!
