I went to Target today and picked up some long sleeve Champion C9 baselayers for the winter called Power Core Cold. Silky form fitting material that fits and feels terrific. Also picked up three short sleeve T's called Duo Dry mostly for the warmer temps but can be worn year round. Supposedly both of these items are made of good wicking material and have been recommended by other BF members. Can't beat the price either...from $12-$17 each.
I didn't want to splurge on Ibex or Smartwool right now but maybe I'll drop a hint to the family for Christmas. ;)

thanks for sharing! that's awesome.
Man that Target stuff is awesome. 1/4 the price of "brand name" merchandise. Shoot, the same "duofold" shirt or whatever material they call it at Adidas is still $20 at TJ Maxx.

I just noticed that one of the five shirts I bought today is the wrong size...a good excuse to go back to Target and maybe pick up a few more.
By the way they also carry C9 mesh jackets and shells. :D

I don't know if this is a local thing or not but Target had C9 sportsbras on sale for right around $9 a piece-- I bought 2 of them. I'd never tried them before but I used it on today's ride and it was pretty comfortable. I think I'll go back and get a few more.

Just got back from my yearly cruise yesterday and wanted to provide an update on the Champion C9 Duo Dry T shirts that I took along for the hot caribbean weather. I can honestly say that they have terrific wicking ability and kept me comfortable in very warm conditions. As I started to sweat the shirt would bring each drop of perspiration to the front where it would then dry. The front of my shirt was spotted with a polka dot pattern of perspiration whereas with a regular cotton T shirt it would have looked like one big dark spot and would have been plastered to my skin. This stuff really works...get some if you can. :D
