Hello all together.

I'm a new member currently living and studying in Duisburg, Germany. I've been commuting to university by bike for almost a year now and occasionally do some travelling on bike too.
I'm not sure what brand is my bike because I got it from a colleague. (The decals are badly worn but the paint is still on). Its a mountain bike with no suspensions but the frame is very robust. Since then, I've spent many times more money than what I paid for it on repairs/upgrades. New tires and wheels, mud guards, lights and carrying rack.

Look forward to joining the community!

Bert.

Duisburg is pretty flat following the Rhein into Holland. It gets more hilly a short way eastward (Müllheim, Essen).
